Bealtaine: Beginner Watercolour Workshop

Discover the joy of watercolour painting in this relaxed, beginner‑friendly workshop with Elaine Watters. Ideal for those with little or no experience, the session begins with a simple introduction to essential watercolour techniques, followed by gentle warm‑up exercises to build confidence.

Participants will then explore how to compose a simple watercolour scene using the principles of the rule of thirds, before creating their own A3 watercolour landscape to take home.

All art materials are provided. Participants are asked to bring an apron or old shirt, and optional latex gloves if preferred.

Places are limited so booking is required.

Organised as part of Bealtaine, Ireland's national festival celebrating the arts and ageing.
