This Cruinniú na nÓg, we welcome you to join us at Walkinstown Library for an Immersive Sensory Play Encounter for babies and young children aged 6 months to 3 years.
Join Joanna Parkes and Bethan Parkes for an under the sea for an immersive play adventure - young children and their accompanying adults are invited to journey to an imaginary world under the sea and join in the play together.
This event is free, but booking is essential.
Please Note: Children must be accompanied by their parent, carer or guardian who is encouraged to follow the child’s lead, observe what interests them and join in their play.
This immersive play experience is a child-led experience so the children are free to discover and investigate, to follow their natural curiosity and explore what catches their interest. In their investigations they will find things to squish, squeeze, splash and scoop, they will find a golden cave with hidden treasure and can join an Octopus having a tea party. There will be a separate area of sensory play activities for babies aged 6 to 12 months and accompanying adult.
